Pat Sharp presented his first daytime show for BBC Radio 1 at just twenty years of age back in1982. Following a year on air, plus numerous ‘Top of the Pops’ appearances, he then went on to host mid mornings at 95.8 Capital FM London. Along the way he picked up a gold Sony award whilst also notching up 5 hit singles and raising £300,000 for charity as part of the infamous Stock Aitken Waterman duo ‘Pat & Mick’. He then took his mid-morning slot to #1 again at Heart London.

Over the years his radio shows have also been broadcast on BFBS for our troops worldwide, along with in-flight entertainment aboard Swissair & Virgin. Pat also hosted afternoons across the UK on Smooth Radio and more recently weekends at Greatest Hits Radio.

Pat broadcasts nationally at Heart 80s from Global in Leicester Square, plus he also presents a radio show every Friday afternoon across Norway on P 8 Pop.

On TV Pat hosted the iconic ITV show FunHouse for a decade along with other ITV shows including the Saturday morning spectacular What’s Up Doc & The Gala Opening of Euro Disney.

He was also the pioneer host of Sky Channel’s first pop video shows (Skytrax) shown across Europe in 28 countries via satellite throughout the 80s.

Some other recent TV credits include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Ready Steady Cook, Through the Keyhole & Mastermind. Pat also appears regularly on Universal’s music channels Now 80s & 90s as their presenter.

He was the DJ support act for the Bros reunion shows at the O2 and he has played regularly at Snowbombing, Rewind and Let’s Rock for decades along with massive international DJ sets in Ibiza, Norway & Dubai.

With more than four decades of live TV, radio, corporate hosting and DJ sets experience, Pat still attracts more and more new fans both old and young alike and has tonnes of social media followers.
